High-grade aluminium components for crane constructions
Flare installations are overhauled approximately every six years. The extreme height of these installations makes disassembly and maintenance a challenging task. More economical and effective
To ensure the safety of both personnel and the environment, flare installations of drilling rigs, (petro) chemical installations and refineries are constructed dozens of meters in height. A crane is often used for overhaul activities; however, that can be a complex and expensive answer. Conbit therefore prefers a tailor made aluminium hoisting structure; a solution which is both more economical and effective.
Critical parts
A winch hoists the loose components up to a platform, where professionals assemble the hoisting structure at great heights. For this reason, the preferred material is aluminium for its lightweight quality whilst still offering the required strength and durability. Although a number of standard components are used, the main part consists of project specific units: critical parts which meet with the very highest demands.

All material certificates are available and all our processes are entirely controlled and verifiable. Welding is performed by ASME certified welders and subject to NDO inspection.
